When using the Peters Precision Cryoembedding System, embedding is performed in wells machined into the face of one-inch thick stainless steel bars offered in various sizes. The 24mm Well Bar has four medium wells that are 3mm deep on one-inch thick stainless steel. These bars are stored in the cryostat and serve as a powerful heat sink to rapidly freeze the block. These stainless steel chucks are designed to be used cold for rapid freezing, and to maximize the gripping power required to hold the embedded tissue block. The stem of the chuck provides the focal point for a sharp tap resulting in an easily release of the block from the well. These chucks fit many of the major brand cryostat and can be used in most cryostats with use of an adapter. These Chuck Adapters have stem measures 20 mm L x 9 mm diameter, and fit Leica and most Microm cryostats. We also offer adapters to use these chuck for other cryostats.

The Haltec Lock-On Air Chuck is an air chuck that locks onto air hoses and nozzles to provide a secure connection. It is made from zinc alloy and has a 1/4 inch NPT thread. The air chuck has a working pressure range of 0-300 PSI. Key features include the lock-on design that prevents accidental disconnection, 360 degree swivel capability, and corrosion resistance. This air chuck can be used with air impact wrenches, air ratchets, blow guns, and other pneumatic tools that require a 1/4 inch NPT connection. It provides a tight seal and secure hold.

The TRUCKSPEC Dual Foot Tire Gauge is a heavy duty tire pressure gauge designed for commercial vehicles. It features a dual foot chuck that fits both truck and car tire valves. The gauge has a 4 inch easy-to-read dial with a rubber bumper guard and glow-in-the-dark dial. It measures from 0-160 psi with +/- 2% accuracy.
